“Official” Medical School Sites

AAMC

The Association of American Medical Colleges has great information about the field of medicine. The home page includes links to Careers in Medicine, which is a great place to start learning about what kind of doctors there are, what they do, and how much they make. You’ll also find links to MCAT information, financial information, and the MSAR.

MSAR

The MSAR is a must-have for choosing your medical schools. You’ll find great information about the school’s average MCAT, GPA and other statistics. Be aware that rarely this information does differ from the school’s website, so you’ll want to double check with the schools, especially about individual medical school requirements. You’ll also find a good amount of this information, along with school rankings, on my list of schools page. I’m adding more schools all the time!
