Put a Former UCLA Medical School Admissions Committee Member on Your Side!
You probably came to this site
wondering: What should I do to get into medical school?
I can’t tell you how many times I asked myself this while I
was applying. I know how stressful it is to try to make yourself
that applicant who will be accepted. In my case, I
just wanted to be accepted to any school!
After a lot of hard work and some luck, I was able to get into
UCLA, one of the top schools in the country. I was jumping off the
walls when I got that letter!
This site is designed to help you get that acceptance
letter of your dreams.
You might be asking yourself, "Can this guy really help me do
that?"
My answer is: Yes! Probably my most important qualification to
you is my experience on the UCLA medical school admissions
committee. Here I learned exactly
what it takes to get into a top school.
I also draw from my own experiences as a fourth year UCLA
medical student (accepted as a non-California resident), the
experiences of my colleagues and solid resources to provide you this
information.
I want you to succeed! I did it and you can too!
Here is a basic outline of what you need to
do (and what this site will help you do) to get that
acceptance letter:
1.Start making yourself a must-have
applicant. Right now!
To do this you'll need to understand exactly what admissions
committees are looking for. You'll also need to understand the
admissions process from start to end. You'll find this little-known information
here.
2. Research and decide on the best schools
for you.
You can check out the top 100 schools here. Also visit my list of schools page. I'm adding more
schools all the time! You can also see the things I think are
important in choosing your best schools here.
3. Know, meet and exceed the
requirements.
You'll find the requirements and my picks to put you ahead of the class here.
4. Develop a strategy for the MCAT.
This monster of a test has a big impact on your competitiveness
as an applicant. Find out how to ace this test here. You'll
also find my reviews of MCAT Prep Courses here.
5. Stand out in the application
process.
Now that you understand what schools are looking for, you also need
to understand how to fill out your application, interview like a pro, and write a stunning
personal statement.
6. Finance your medical education.
People mainly use scholarships and loans, but there are other
options. Find out about these little-known options here.
That should help you get started! As you can see, there's a lot
that goes into getting accepted. That's why I've created
my eBook,
It's a comprehensive, easy-to-read guide to explain to you
exactly what to do to get accepted, as well as
when and how to do it. Plus, it's just $7! Click
here to check it out!
